About	Partition Museum is the first historic town hall building in Amritsar, and it has attracted over hundreds and thousands of visitors to the museum. The museum is one of the most defining events in the subcontinent's history. The museum was built with over 17,000 square feet in the iconic and grand Town Hall building, and the museum uses multiple different media to create an immersive world-class experience. The museum's collection consists of the objects the refugees brought from Pakistan during the sudden division of the country. The museum has aimed to become the central place of stories, materials, and documents related to the post-partition riots which followed British and India's split into two independent countries. The museum actively promotes internships and has a continuing internship program, and also it affords free entry for children (5 and below) & survivors.
