About	KG Hospital, the K.Govindaswamy Naidu hospital, was founded in 1974. Dr G.Bakthavathsalam, the Managing Trustee and Chairman of KG Hospital. For his service to society, Dr Bakthavathsalam has received Padma Shri Award from the President of India and Dr B.C. Roy Award from the Prime Minister of India. KG Hospital is accredited by NABH and NABL currently. The hospital has performed a rare heart surgery first time in medical history on a girl with five heart defects, and also a 2-day old baby was dialyses. The hospital is the world's first 4D ultrasound system with wireless transducers installed, and third-time kidney transplantation was done on a soldier. The first hospital to perform invasive cardiac surgeries and more than 200 surgeries are done with a 100% success rate.
