About	Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College is the second oldest college in Kanpur, and it is affiliated by Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University. They are dedicated to excellence in teaching and promoting genuine knowledge among their students and faculty members. The college believes that the development of such scholarship shall contribute to the development of the youth in the country. D.A-V. college has a magnificent three-storeyed library (Anand Swarup Central Library) building established in 1956, covering 9000 SQ Feet carpet area. They strive to cater to the needs of about twenty-five thousand students. D.A-V. College has a vast auditorium with a seating capacity of about eight hundred. They also have many well-equipped laboratories, which are home to many highly sophisticated experimental research facilities.
