It is one of several municipal parks in Greater Sudbury, located in the heart of the city with access and parking lots. It is a great park that has strong physical connections to its surroundings. The park has walkway curves around the lake, rowing/canoe club, public beaches and the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The park has an ideal natural landscape and favourite local spot, drawing visitors and residents for scenic walks along the waterfront.
