| About | The RCMP Heritage Center is run by the Mounted Police Heritage Department, a non-profit organization. It was officially opened to the public on 23 May 2007. Since 2016, it was beginning to operate interactive virtual reality exhibits. It is the place to explores RCMP's history for over a century, from the founding of North-West Mounted Police in 1873 to modern Mountie. The magnificent RCMP Heritage Center sits next door to the Depot and F Division. The Center strives diligently to bring to life the force's past, dignity and culture for tourists of all ages. Since 1885 the RCMP is training the best and the brightest on its ground. |
