| About | The John Elliott Theater has become the main stage for numerous community theatre groups in the city. It is located in downtown Halton Hills. It is also hosting numerous travelling theatre companies, seminars, conferences and workshops. The John Elliott Theater area is part of a church building constructed in 1854 donated to the town in 1915 to serve as a library. It featured a large proscenium, sizeable stage, orchestra pit, and 267 seats, expanding its capacity after the library moved into a new wing in 1973. Special group rates may also be available depending on the individual production companies. The John Elliott Theatre is wheelchair accessible. |
