| About | Dr. Joseph Silvaggio finished his medical degree at the University of Toronto in 1997. He did his neurosurgical training at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is an assistant professor in the section of Neurosurgery at, Univ. of Manitoba. Dr. Joseph has a special interest in doing Cerebrovascular and Cranial Base Neurosurgeries. Dr. Joseph's current research interests include the epidemiology of neurosurgical disease and outcomes-based studies. Dr. Joseph Silvaggio has published several book chapters and scientific publications. He has been invited to talk on the topics of vascular and endovascular neurosurgery throughout Canada. He has newly added Gamma Knife Radiosurgery to his practice and also maintains a busy general neurosurgery practice to manage a wide scope of tumours affecting the central nervous system. |
