| About | Vancouver Art Gallery is the largest public art museum in Western Canada, Founded in 1931. The museum occupies a 15,300-square-metre-building adjacent to Robson Square. The museum's innovative, ground-breaking exhibitions, extensive public programs, and emphasis on advancing scholarship all focus on the contemporary and historical art of British Columbia and international centers, with special attention to the accomplishments of First Nations artists and the art of the Asia Pacific region.
