| About | The Maple Ridge Cemetery has developed into a more conventional cemetery where virtually all of the burials that occur in Maple Ridge take place. The cemetery was established in 1878 on land donated by two pioneers William Nelson and George Howison. The cemeteries are separated into Sections, Lots, Blocks and Grave Numbers. In the Maple Ridge Cemetery, there is a Cemetery Map posted inside the cemetery entry. The Cemetery Clerk can search to verify if a person is buried here and provide the plot location and details. The City of Maple Ridge cemeteries are open to everyone, and residents of Maple Ridge receive a reduced rate for the Right of Interment. |
