About	Meewasin Park is surrounded by large, mature trees, with a few fireplaces distributed across the green fields. The facilities make the park an excellent spot for an outing, and it also has a little campfire outside the backyard. A sand floored playground is available for kids to play, and a paved walking path through green fields gives a fantastic option for healthy activity. The trail runs over 90 km along both sides of the river, winding under the bridges and through beautifully landscaped parks and natural areas. Meewasin Park has native grassland, flora, and fauna. It offers from the mesmerizing song of the Western Meadowlark to the calming scent of wild Prairie Crocuses. The Meewasin Park has seasonal canoe and interpretive cross-country ski tours.
