| About | The McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve has nearly seven kilometres of walking or cycling trails. It features a natural area with around 400 kinds of plants, lots of wildlife, walking trails and viewing platforms. It is a combination of marsh, lake, forested area, and gardens. The McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve has varied habitats to explore. Visitors can also learn about the wildlife and natural history of the area using their senses of touch, smell, and hearing. It has great trails to get back to nature, and the trails ending up on the beach. In summer or winter, it is a gorgeous place to visit. It is open to the public to enjoy wildlife habitats and day-use activities. The reserve is a great place to bring kids to learn the nature. |
