About	First Baptist Moncton is one of the famous churches in Moncton. The church was dedicated to service by Baptist missionary service in 1821, one of Moncton’s oldest standing public buildings. The free meeting house was led by Elder Joseph Crandall. First Baptist Moncton has the warmth and structure of the past and present combined years of traditional-style worship. After years, a group of converts came together and organized the Moncton Baptized Church of Christ. The church later became First Moncton United Baptist Church after 1828. The growing community built their own House of Worship at Church by 1857. By 1909, a Casavant organ, with 1,823 pipes was installed. In 1913, the beautiful wooden structure was destroyed by a fire accident. After years later, by 1921, a stained glass window was dedicated, honouring the 37 church members. Later, at the time when the community was overgrowing, the church had few renovations and is still serving the community by offering many services.
