About | Fleet Air Arm Museum has a historical collection of helicopters, military planes and everything flight-related. Stuart Harwood is the director of the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Their collection tells the story of naval aviation in Australia. The venue boasts a 6000m2 two-storey exhibition centre, function centre, souvenir shop, theatre and airfield viewing platform. The Museum's verandah views the historic airfield at HMAS Albatross, which has differently served the RAAF, the USAAC, the Royal Navy, the RNZAF and the RAN since it was founded in 1941. They also provide pre-booked guided tours. They offer free admission for children under 16 and free defence members with valid ID cards. |
