| About | Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria was established in 1846. The garden comprises two of the world's leading botanic gardens. Royal Botanic Gardens is a centre of excellence in horticulture, education and science. It has been a treasured part of Melbourne's cultural life for over 170 years, which is much enjoyed by generations of Victorians and many tourists from around the country and abroad.
