About | The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG) is a significant art, culture and natural science attraction in northern Tasmania. The museum is owned and run by the City of Launceston with ongoing funding from the Government of Tasmania. The collection has been in the maker since 1842, which includes significant acquisitions and donations from across the world. History, Natural Sciences and Visual Arts and Design are the important collection areas, providing care for and displayed in the Northern Tasmania community.
