About | City Botanic Gardens is a heritage botanical garden in Brisbane. It has many unusual and unique botanical plants. It covers 20 hectares (49 acres), is bounded by George and Alice Streets and the Brisbane River. An impressive selection of cycads, palms, figs, and bamboo are primarily present in the gardens. City Botanic Gardens is has played its function since the early 1840s, remains the finest public park and recreational area.
