About	City Park is a beautiful park located in Launceston. It has a series of memorials and statues, including Launceston's Boer War Memorial, a statue of Tasmanian botanist Ronald Campbell Gunn and a plinthed cannon taken as a war trophy from the Crimean War. The park has BBQ, café, macaque enclosure, picnic tables, toddler equipment, shade areas, water fountains, and a walking trail sealed. The park's attractions include many gardens, a conservatory, bandstand, duck pond, children's playground, the Tasmanian Design Center and a Monkey Island.
