| About | Dr Timothy Siu is a consultant neurosurgeon who completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, Australia, in 1999. After completing neurosurgery training in Sydney, he joined the fellowship program at the Univ. of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he received subspecialty training in the management of brain, spine and peripheral nerve tumours. He focuses on minimally invasive surgery and has established new and modified techniques in this field. He is amongst the first to apply 3D printing technology to create custom-made implants to treat spinal deformity. His clinical expertise includes lateral access and minimally invasive spinal surgery, awake surgery, multimodal imaging and electrophysiology guided surgery for the eloquent brain. He is currently appointed as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. |
