About | Patrick Taylor Cottage is one of the heritage buildings in Western Australia. It was built in 1832 by the Morley Brothers. Patrick Taylor purchased it in July 1834. This cottage consists of an entry room, boxroom, parlour, nursery, bedroom, family room, dining room, sewing room, kitchen, laundry and side veranda. The cottage now displays stunning artefacts from Albany’s history and beyond, as well as in-depth information on Patrick Taylor and early Albany residents, surrounded by a beautiful cottage garden next to the Duke Street Park. |
