| About | The Sublime Point walking trail provides excellent bird watching and scenic views through the Illawarra Escarpment State Conservation Area. The trail is one of the most iconic treks of the Illawarra Escarpment and a daunting walk across the dense coastal rainforest to the plateau above with breathtaking panoramic views. The set of ladders and giant stairs allow you to rock your way down to Austinmer. The trail travels steeply from Sublime Point through thick forests filled with tree ferns and palm trees. The steep climb is ideal for experienced bushwalkers and a great nature escape. Visitors can enjoy lunch at the picnic facilities or nearby cafes before heading back down. |
