| About | Organ Pipes National Park is a premier natural attraction that was developed in 1972. It is located at the easternmost edge of one of the world’s largest ancient volcanic lava flows. The scenic organ pipe wall with the river stream in front of it makes a great trip and a picnic spot. It also has a volcanic history. Organ Pipes National Park is a popular picnic spot with ample tables at the start of the walk. Tracks are all well marked, and there is so much information at the info centre and on the tracks. There are three different areas, the organ pipes, rosette rock, and tessellated pavement, all within a couple of hundred metres. |
