The northern portion comprises approximately 480 hectares and includes a large area of the peninsula between the Entry and Norah Head and the Terilbah and Pelican Islands within Tuggerah Lake. The land now controlled by Wyrrabalong National Park was first inhabited by the native peoples of Darkinjung and Awabakal. The park features a beach, hiking trails, and a small picnic area with striking coastal views. The trails of Wilfred Barrett Drive are suitable for all levels of fitness. Wyrrabalong National Park is a park to enjoy a few hours of peaceful hiking, providing some beautiful tropical growth and water views. |
