About	Dr Rod Gillespie has been practicing dermatology in the Newcastle area for over 20 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Sydney and finished his postgraduate degree in dermatology at the Royal Newcastle Hospital in 1987. He is a member of the Australasian College of Dermatologists the only body in Australia responsible for the education and accreditation of specialists trained in the management of skin cancer and skin disease, and he is also a member of The American Academy of Dermatology and The Australian Medical Association. He is a visiting medical officer at John Hunter Hospital/Royal Newcastle Centre and at Mater Calvary Hospital. Dr Rod Gillespie is an expert in all areas of dermatology. He provides the treatment of cosmetic problems of concern to both male and female patients. He is committed to continuing medical education by attending local and international medical conferences and engaging in frequent clinical and scientific meetings.
