About	St Patrick's Cathedral is one of the most spiritual churches in Toowoomba. The church is a Victorian Gothic was designed by Toowoomba architect James Marks and was built in 1935. The new church building was officially opened in 1935. In 1972 extensive renovations were undertaken. The two significant improvements were installing a well-planned public address system and a specially designed lighting system. The church celebrates the presence of the Risen Christ in their community when they gather to celebrate Eucharist.
