About	St Agnes' Parish is one of the oldest historical churches in Port Macquarie. The church was established around 1821 with the idea of serving the Catholic residents in Hastings Valley. The church has designated groups and ministries to serve the community's children, youth, men, and women with their needs. St Agnes pastoral council enables the faithful to exercise their right and duty to participate in and share responsibility for the life and mission of the church. It also provides meaningful services across the full spectrum of life in ministry, education, childcare, aged care, family support, disability, employment and training. They are committed to using and developing their resources in responsible, productive and sustainable ways that bring justice to Christ’s people and the planet. Their inviting and warm ambience attracts more outsiders and even tourists from neighbouring communities. St Agnes on every Sunday at 5pm directs a Mass, especially for families and youth.
