| About | St Francis Xavier Cathedral is one of the oldest historical churches in Geraldton. The church was established in 1999 with a plan of serving the local Catholic families with religious services. The ministry planned the church's construction, and the first phase of the construction began in 1916. The construction was completed with a nave and twin towers. St Francis Xavier Cathedral second phase of construction started after two years, and the construction of the crypt and the sanctuary was completed.
